Règles de tri : logo confusant = pénalité financière !

Depuis le 1er janvier 2021, les entreprises qui apposent une signalétique suscitant une confusion chez le consommateur quant au geste de tri et concurrençant des logos tel que « Triman » peuvent être pénalisées financièrement.

Le Gouvernement précise que les signalétiques pouvant induire une confusion sur la règle de tri sont les figures graphiques représentant 2 ou plusieurs flèches enroulées et inscrites dans un cercle, à l’exception :

    • du logo Triman ;
    • des signalétiques encadrées réglementairement par un autre Etat membre de l’Union européenne dès lors que ces signalétiques informent le consommateur que le produit fait l’objet d’une règle de tri ou que le produit est recyclable ;
    • des logos associés à la marque sous laquelle est vendu ou distribué un produit, ou associés à l’entreprise qui vend ou distribue le produit.
