Plus précisément, elles sont soumises à une obligation de transparence renforcée en matière d’utilisation de données personnelles de leurs utilisateurs, dès lors qu’elles atteignent un seuil fixé à 5 millions de visiteurs uniques mensuels, calculé en moyenne sur la base de la dernière année civile.

Elles doivent aussi établir, chaque année, des éléments statistiques relatifs aux titres, aux éditeurs et au nombre de consultations de ces contenus qu’elles doivent publier.
