De nombreux consommateurs se plaignent des démarchages téléphoniques intempestifs provenant de l’étranger. Pour mieux les protéger, l’autorité de régulation des communications électroniques et des postes (Arcep) vient de nouvelles mesures…
Démarchage téléphonique : une meilleure protection contre les appels provenant de l’étranger !
L’Arcep a pris plusieurs mesures afin de protéger les consommateurs des démarchages téléphoniques depuis l’étranger et effectués avec un numéro français pour tromper les consommateurs.
Ces mesures, applicables depuis le 1er août 2019, consistent en :
l’interdiction d’utiliser un numéro géographique (de 01 à 05) ou polyvalent (09) ;
l’interdiction d’utiliser un numéro mobile (06 ou 07) pour les messages vocaux préenregistrés émettant plus d’appels ou de messages qu’ils n’en reçoivent.
Cette 2nde interdiction sera valable à compter du 1er janvier 2021 pour les messages vocaux commençant par un numéro géographique ou polyvalent.
