Pour une association de défense de l’environnement, l’épidémie de coronavirus (COVID-19) justifie qu’il soit interdit aux agriculteurs de procéder à l’épandage de leurs terrains agricoles durant la crise sanitaire. A raison ?


Coronavirus (COVID-19) : les épandages demeurent autorisés !

Pour une association de défense de l’environnement, les particules fines en suspension dans l’air constituent un facteur aggravant de la propagation du COVID-19 ou, tout au moins, de ses conséquences notamment sur les personnes souffrant par ailleurs de certaines affections, en particulier respiratoires.

En vue de lutter contre la propagation de ces particules fines, l’association a réclamé la limitation des épandages agricoles durant la crise sanitaire.

Demande rejetée par le juge, relevant notamment qu’aucun dépassement de seuil de pollution n’a eu lieu depuis le confinement et que le lien fait par l’association entre les particules fines et le COVID-19 n’est étayé par aucune étude scientifique.
