La loi confortant les principes de la République, publiée le 25 août 2021, prévoit, entre autres mesures, l’interdiction pour les médecins d’établir des « certificats de virginité ».
Interdiction des certificats de virginité !
Il est expressément interdit à un professionnel de santé d’établir un certificat aux fins d’attester de la virginité d’une personne.
Etablir un tel certificat est sanctionné par une amende de 15 000 € et une peine d’emprisonnement d’1 an.
Par ailleurs, tenter de corrompre ou de contraindre une personne pour qu’elle se soumette à un examen de virginité est également sanctionné par une amende de 15 000 € et une peine d’emprisonnement d’1 an. Notez que le montant de l’amende est porté à 30 000 € lorsque la personne est mineure.
Enfin, notez que les mêmes sanctions sont prévues à l’encontre de la personne qui procède à l’examen de virginité.
