Le Gouvernement a créé une application mobile pour sécuriser les trajets en voiture : elle s’appelle « COOPITS ». A quoi sert-elle ?


Application « COOPITS » : quels intérêts ?

Le Gouvernement a lancé le 5 janvier 2021 une application mobile intitulée « COOPITS » pour permettre aux personnes qui effectuent des trajets en voiture de recevoir certaines informations émanant du gestionnaire routier : emplacements et disponibilités des parkings, vitesse optimale pour arriver au feu au vert, panneaux à messages variables embarqués, information en temps réel sur les chantiers, etc.

Elle permet également de signaler une difficulté (panne, accident, etc.) au gestionnaire routier pour une intervention plus rapide. Notez qu’elle peut se superposer à un navigateur préinstallé (ex. Waze, Google maps ou toute autre application) ou fonctionner de façon indépendante.

Par ailleurs, « COOPITS » favorise l’écoconduite en évitant l’attente au feu et en signalant les voies réservées au covoiturage ou aux transports en commun.

Notez que l’information reçue par le gestionnaire routier est strictement anonymisée, afin de protéger la vie privée de l’utilisateur de l’application.

Enfin, sachez que « COOPITS » est, pour le moment, utilisable uniquement sur Bordeaux et ses environs, avant d’être étendue à de nouvelles régions.
