Dans le contexte de la propagation du coronavirus, l’Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament et des produits de santé (ANSM) a annoncé que depuis le 18 mars 2020, la vente de paracétamol est limitée. Pourquoi ?


Coronavirus : de la bonne utilisation du paracétamol…

Face à l’épidémie de coronavirus, en cas de douleurs ou/fièvre, il faut privilégier l’utilisation du paracétamol.

Mais, face à l’importance du nombre de personnes devant l’utiliser dans les jours à venir, et face à l’achat de trop nombreuses boîtes de paracétamol par des personnes voulant se constituer une réserve, l’Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament et des produits de santé (ANSM) a décidé de limiter la vente de ce médicament.

L’objectif est de garantir la disponibilité du médicament aux personnes qui en ont réellement besoin.

C’est pourquoi, depuis le 18 mars 2020, les pharmaciens peuvent délivrer sans ordonnance une seule boîte de paracétamol (500 mg ou 1 g) par patient ne présentant aucun symptôme, ou 2 boîtes (500 m ou 1 g) en cas de symptômes (douleurs et/ou fièvre).

Par ailleurs, la vente sur Internet de médicaments à base de paracétamol, d’ibuprofène et d’aspirine est suspendue.
