Terrasse en bois : une autorisation d’urbanisme est-elle nécessaire ?

Pour un sénateur, la réglementation en matière d’installation de terrasse en bois est assez obscure car il constate que certaines collectivités ne réclament pas d’autorisation d’urbanisme, alors que d’autres imposent une déclaration préalable. Parfois, certaines exigent même un permis de construire.

Le sénateur a alors demandé au Gouvernement de lui rappeler quelle était la réglementation en matière d’installation de terrasse en bois. Ce dernier vient de lui répondre que les terrasses de plain-pied, quel que soit le type de matériau dans lequel elles sont faites, sont dispensées de toute formalité, en raison de leur nature ou de leur très faible importance.

Toutefois, elles peuvent être soumises à déclaration préalable lorsqu’elles se situent dans le périmètre d’un site patrimonial remarquable, dans les abords de monuments historiques, dans un site classé ou en instance de classement.
