Désormais, seuls les employeurs contribuent, par principe, à l’assurance chômage. Ils versent une contribution de 4 %, à laquelle s’ajoute une contribution exceptionnelle de 0,05 %. Mais les CDD d’usage d’au plus 3 mois sont soumis à un taux de 4,5 %. Pour l’instant…


1er avril 2019 : fin de la majoration de la contribution d’assurance chômage

Depuis le 1er octobre 2017, la contribution majorée autrefois applicable aux contrats courts a, par principe, disparu.

Une seule perdure encore : celle pour les CDD d’usage, appliqués dans certains secteurs où il est d’usage de ne pas recourir aux CDI, d’une durée inférieure ou égale à 3 mois. La contribution due au titre de ces contrats est fixée au taux de 4,5 %, auquel s’ajoute une contribution exceptionnelle de 0,05 %.

A partir du 1er avril 2019, la contribution d’assurance chômage applicable à ces CDD sera due au taux habituel de 4 %, auquel s’ajoutera toujours la contribution exceptionnelle au taux de 0,05 %.
